Absolutely all credit to Gary Leff for noticing this, although I learned something else that makes what he found multiples better – literally 😉
As he noticed, there is a one time promotion with Capital One (celebrating the inclusion of JetBlue TrueBlue as a Capital One transfer partner, though at a sad 1:0.6 ratio) where you’ll get 5,000 bonus points when you make *any* transfer from Capital One Miles to JetBlue.
The minimum transfer is 1,000 Miles which gets you 600 TrueBlue points for the transfer, but then 5,000 more for the one time bonus.
You’ll get an email when the points have posted.
But MilesTalk Facebook group member Tim noticed something even better. Way better.
The bonus is applicable once per Capital One Miles card account.
I have three that earn Miles – the Capital One VentureOne, the Capital One Venture X, and the Capital One Spark Miles for Business.
I transferred 1,000 from each account and got 15,000 bonus points in total.
Wow.
I suspect this won’t last long…
