You can normally get 500 bonus World of Hyatt points per night when you stay at a new Hyatt affiliated hotel. It’s a promotion they do to raise awareness of their newest hotels.
Now, to celebrate the opening of their 1,000th hotel – the Alila Napa Valley – they will give 1,000 bonus points per night for each night you stay at a new hotel as defined by the list on this page.
The offer stacks with other offers, like this one where you earn 2,000 – 2,500 bonus points per stay and a free night after 10 nights. Award nights also count.
There are 42 properties on the list, like the Alila Nappy Valley and the much anticipated Alila Marea Beach Resort Encinitas in the San Diego area.
The Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve Puerto Rico in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico is one that I’m VERY tempted to check out. Rio Grande is a great location, around where the Atlantic Ocean blends into the Caribbean on the north east section of Puerto Rico and is near the El Yunque rainforest. It’s a great spot to try kayaking on a bioluminescent bay.
At a mere Category 3, you’re looking at just 12,000 points a night for a standard room. Unfortunately the Suites don’t seem to be for sale yet so we don’t know which are Standard and Premium, but I’m guessing that 24,000 points for this suite “Stretching 1,075 square feet, this suite has a Jacuzzi on the terrace overlooking the garden and partial ocean views, a living room, dining room, kitchenette, a king bed, and two sleeper sofas” will be an amazing value.
Get Hyatt Bonus Points: Earn 30,000 Bonus Points after spending $3,000 on purchases within the first 3 months from account opening, plus an additional 2 Bonus Points total per $1 spent in you first 6 months on purchases that would normally earn 1 Bonus Point, on up to $15,000 spent. | How to apply for this offer.

moving up a cat on March 24 and only for bookings till March 31 are eligible for new hotel promo
Hi Abey. I’m not sure what hotel you are talking about.
As for the 1,000 point promo, per Hyatt: “Earn 1,000 Bonus Points for every qualifying night at new hotels – when you check out between April 1 and June 30, 2021 ”
And while yes, 10 properties move up a category later this month, I’m not sure what you are saying with your other comment.
Hi Dave HR Grand reserve is moving up a category March 25, additionally while the promo for double points is valid FROM April 1, the HR grand reserve is falling of the list of new hotels on March 31 so no dice
Ah, I see! Thanks for clarifying 🙂
