Just a few weeks ago I wrote about the very first SLH hotels going online with Hilton Honors. Read that article for all the details about how well they are integrating SLH – even better than Hyatt did.
At the time of that article just 3 hotels are online, but they are now up to 16!
The best way to see and search is the SLH brand page.
Two notable additions are former Hyatt fan favorites – the much lauded Grand Hotel Victoria Concept and Spa – Lago di Como (Review) and Call Island off the coast of Nicaragua.
So far, I only see a few weeks of availability for October for the Grand Hotel Victoria but points prices seem to cap at 120,000 points there which would make it a huge steal if you can get summer available and well over 1 cent per point in value – especially if you do 5th night free (if you have absolutely any level of elite status with Hilton, even Silver).
I couldn’t find a day of availability yet for Calala Island, but a) it’s always tough to book since there are so few rooms and b) in this early Hilton / SLH rollout which seems to be a slow moving test rollout, absolutely all the properties have very few dates loaded for either cash or points.
But, this is a clear sign things are moving quickly and that is awesome to see.
As I mentioned in the last article, these are integrated like any Hilton Honors hotel with capped prices on Reward nights and the ability to use Free Night Reward certificates as well as tier benefits:
- Member: Guaranteed Member Discount, Complimentary Standard Wi-Fi, Complimentary Late Checkout, Bottled Water/Hydration per stay, No Resort Fees on Reward Stays
- Silver: 20% Elite Tier Bonus, 5th Standard Reward Night Free, All “Member” benefits
- Gold: 80% Elite Tier Bonus, Complimentary Breakfast (for two guests), Space-available Upgrades, 5th Standard Reward Night Free, All “Member” benefits
- Diamond: 100% Elite Tier Bonus, Complimentary Breakfast (for two guests), Space-available upgrades, 5th Standard Reward Night Free, All “Member” benefits
