Parag R. in the MilesTalk Facebook group found an AMAZING deal earlier today. I only now got a chance to put it on the blog (hint: you should be in the group!!) but here’s the deal.
You can fly on the nonstop from Newark (EWR) to Delhi (DEL) which is on a 789 Dreamliner (both frequencies each day) at the price of 80,000 United miles. You can also fly from connecting cities. I tried several like ORD and they worked. Same price.
It’s WIDE OPEN from now until end of schedule. Pretty much any day another MilesTalker (or by now someone that’s read it elsewhere) hasn’t booked.
Some days may only have one seat, some have more.
THIS IS NOT A SAVER FARE. So you cannot book with other miles.
United only.
Remember to make sure you have it lined up to check out before transferring points, from Chase for example.
Stuart A. in the group says that Bombay (BOM) is working for 88k so you may want to play around. You could also try connecting destinations.
