Amid all the Delta news yesterday, this one will get buried so I’m making a quick post so you all know.
If you have a Delta SkyMiles® Gold Business American Express Card, two categories that had uncapped 2X earnings will be capped as of Jan 1, 2024.
U.S. shipping purchases and U.S. advertising in select online / TV media will only earn 2X up to $50,000 in annual spend per category.
I’m sure there are a few that may have their Google ad spend (or similar) on set it and forget it, thinking they’ll earn 2X on everything.
So if that’s you, make a note for the end of the year.
The American Express® Business Gold Card (4x) or the Chase Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card (3x) would be better choices for that anyway. Both cap at a much higher $150,000 (though that includes their other related bonus categories in the maximum).
