Add it to the list of cruise lines that will attempt to lure you onboard if you already have an offer from other cruise lines for comped cruises.
It’s only been live a week or two, so we are still collecting data points on how they are matching. I cannot tell you exactly what might give you what – you’ll have to submit and see 😉
Note that if you have sailed via a comp offer like through Ocean Prime, they will no doubt look at your play from that sail, so I would not get your hopes up on an offer match if you “dined and dashed” on a previous MSC cruise.
Offers are being discussed in the Cruise Match Sidechat within the MilesTalk Facebook Group.
What we know:
- Offers matched now should be approved within 3-4 days
- They are currently good roughly through this summer (so don’t match now if you are looking for a winter cruise).
- The offers seem to only be US based (unless/until we see some international offers)
- Offers vary on cabin type and some include free play.
- All offers seem to include drinks at the casino
- The deposit is $400, returned as onboard casino credit. $500 for World America sails (which via Ocean have $1,400 surcharge but do not here).
- You should be able to pay to upgrade an offer all the way up to Yacht Club for additional cost.
- It looks like they will automatically begin a Status Match for you to their Voyager’s Club.
To Match:
You fill out a form at https://msccompmatch.com/#form.
It should send you information on how to supply additional information (i.e. your current offers).
Then a few days later you will get an email with your offer.
If you get new / different information than above, please share here or in the MilesTalk Facebook Group.
