ONE TWO FREE® 2018 Terms & Conditions
One Free Rental Day will be awarded each time a Member (as defined below) earns 600 points in the ONE TWO FREE® promotion (the “Promotion”). Earned Free Rental Day coupons may be redeemed to cover base rate (Time and Mileage) only for a rental day but does not apply to taxes, fees, surcharges, refueling, drop-off, delivery, youthful driver, additional driver, pick-up, or one-way charges or any optional product or service, which are the responsibility of the renter. Earned points and Free Rental Day coupons will expire at 11:59 p.m. on June 13, 2019 CDT. By participating in the Promotion, Members agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
For U.S. residents, a Member is a resident of the United States who is a Member of the Emerald Club® and has registered to participate in the Promotion through the ONE TWO FREE® website. For residents of Latin America and the Caribbean, a Member is a resident of Latin America and the Caribbean who is a Member of the Emerald Club® and has registered to participate in the Promotion through the ONE TWO FREE® website. Members may sometimes be referred to as “you” throughout these Terms & Conditions. For residents of Australia and New Zealand, a Member is a resident of Australia or New Zealand who is a Member of the Emerald Club® and has registered to participate in the Promotion through the ONE TWO FREE® website.
During the Promotion, Members may earn points through one or more of the following methods. Members may earn 300 Points for each Qualifying Rental (as defined below) made after the date on which the Member registered and which occurs during the period beginning August 23, 2018, through February 28, 2019 (the “Promotion Period”). For residents of the U.S., Latin America and the Caribbean, Australia and New Zealand, a Qualifying Rental is a paid rental, via the Emerald Club®, of a Midsize or larger vehicle at participating National Car Rental® locations in the 50 United States, including the District of Columbia, as well as in Argentina, Aruba, Belize, Cayman Islands, Colombia, Costa Rica, Curaçao, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Peru, St. Maarten, Surinam, Tortola, Trinidad & Tobago, Uruguay, Australia, and New Zealand, for a period of two or more consecutive daysduring the Promotion Period. Members will only be awarded points for one rental out at a time, which identifies the Member as the primary driver. No credit will be awarded Members for rentals made prior to a Member’s registration date.
In addition, Members may earn points through one or more of the following bonus opportunities during the promotion period. Each bonus opportunity has a specific point value which (if earned) can be combined with points earned for Qualifying Rentals.
Bonus Opportunities:
- Preregistered Rollover Points (U.S. Residents only): Targeted Preregistration offer to rollover points earned during the 2017 Promotion when you preregister for the 2018 Promotion. Targeted to U.S. registrants who earned 300–599 points, including points for rental activity, but never earned a Free Rental Day coupon during the 2017 ONE TWO FREE® promotion. Registrants who received a preregistration offer for the 2017 promotion are not eligible. Preregistration by 8/8/2018 required.
- Redeem a Free Rental Day (U.S. Residents only): Targeted Preregistration offer to earn a one-time bonus of 300 points when you redeem a Free Rental Day earned during the 2017 ONE TWO FREE® Promotion. Targeted to 2017 U.S. registrants who earned one Free Rental Day coupon during the 2017 promotion and rented without a redemption before 6/15/2018. Registrants who received preregistration rollover point for the 2017 promotion are not eligible. Preregistration by 8/8/2018 required.
- Mobile App Download: One-time bonus of 25 points when you download the National Car Rental® App.
- Mobile App Rental: 75 points when you reserve using the National Car Rental® App and complete the rental.
- Emerald Checkout: 50 points when you complete a rental using the Emerald Checkout feature via the National Car Rental® App.
- Take Our Survey: 50 points when you complete a brief Emerald Club® survey.
- Email Opt In: One-time bonus of 50 points when you opt in to receive Emerald Club® emails, which provide useful information, special offers and savings opportunities.
- World Traveler: One-time bonus of 300 points when you complete a rental in three different countries during the promotion.
- Complete 5 Bonus Opportunities: One-time bonus of 75 points when you complete any 5 available bonus opportunities on your dashboard.
- Complete 3 Rentals: One-time bonus of 100 points when you complete your third Qualifying Rental.
- Neighborhood Rental (U.S., LAC and Australia Residents only): 200 points when you rent with Enterprise Rent-A-Car® at neighborhood locations (i.e., all locations other than airport locations). Limit to 3 bonuses for up to 600 points.
- Weekend Rental: One-time bonus of 100 points when you rent for 2-4 days with a Saturday night keep (in addition to the points you earn for completing a Qualifying Rental).
- Weeklong Rental: One-time bonus of 200 points when you rent for 5 days or more (in addition to the points you earn for completing a Qualifying Rental).
- Latin American or Caribbean Rental (U.S., Australia and New Zealand Residents only): 300 points when you rent at participating locations in Latin America and the Caribbean. To find participating locations, visit our SITE.
- Rent in Europe: 300 points when you rent at participating locations in Europe (through Enterprise Rent-A-Car®). To find participating locations, visit our SITE.
- Emerald Reserve Service: One-time bonus of 25 points when you access the Emerald Reserve Service to receive a specific car class — Convertible, Minivan, SUV or any other vehicle. Available only at major airports throughout the U.S. and Canada.
- Add SiriusXM (U.S. Residents only): One-time bonus of 300 points when you add SiriusXM Satellite Radio to a Qualifying Rental at participating locations in the Continental U.S. (Additional fees apply).
- Mystery: One-time bonus of 100 points when you click on the Mystery bonus opportunity on your dashboard when it’s available.
One or more bonus opportunities will be available on each Member’s dashboard on the ONE TWO FREE® website. Successful completion of bonus opportunities, by successfully completing the activity per the Bonus Details, will result in the Member earning the displayed bonus points for that opportunity, which can be used toward earning Free Rental Day coupons. Completed activities and point values — including rentals that result in point awards — will be displayed in the Member’s My Activity section.
Members should allow five business days for points earned in the ONE TWO FREE® Promotion to be displayed in his/her ONE TWO FREE® account balance after the ONE TWO FREE® bonus activity occurred. ONE TWO FREE® points and rewards have no cash value and cannot be sold or bartered.
Redemption of Earned Free Rental Days:
Earned Free Rental Day redemption begins for registered Members the later of August 23, 2018, or 1–2 weeks after a Member reaches 600 earned points. To redeem a Free Rental Day, visit promos.emeraldclub.com/12Free/2018 to view your Free Rental Day coupons, click redeem, and then rent a Compact through Fullsize car starting August 23, 2018, through June 13, 2019. Points and Free Rental Day coupons will expire at 11:59 p.m. on June 13, 2019 CDT.
To take advantage of this Promotion, make a reservation at least 23 hours in advance. No more than three Free Rental Days may be redeemed toward one rental of three or more days. The Free Rental Coupon cannot be combined with any other discount and cannot be applied to a previous or existing reservation. Renter and Additional Driver(s) must meet renting branch’s standard rental qualifications. Additional mandatory charges may be imposed, including, but not limited to, a customer facility charge, airport concession fee, tourism commission assessment, vehicle license recovery fee, or other government imposed taxes or fees.
