Today, we are seeing two new bonus offers on popular business credit cards.

World of Hyatt Business Credit Card
The World of Hyatt Business credit card hasn’t had its bonus offer updated in quite a while.
The old offer was a simple “Earn 60,000 bonus World of Hyatt points when you spend $5,000 within 3 months.”
The new offer is two tiered:
Earn up to 75,000 Bonus Points
Earn 60,000 bonus points after you spend $5,000 on purchases in your first 3 months from account opening. Earn an additional 15,000 Bonus Points after your spend $12,000 within 6 months of account opening.
Basically, an extra $7,000 in spend nets you an extra 15,000 points. If you spent that in one of its numerous 2X bonus categories, it could amount to roughly 4X Hyatt points per dollar on that additional spend, which certainly isn’t bad.
Unfortunately, this offer does not come with any sort of “double elite night credits” offer like we’ve seen on two previous World of Hyatt Business credit card offers, but none this year.

Marriott Bonvoy Business® American Express® Card
The old offer on the Marriott Bonvoy Business® American Express® Card was:
Earn three bonus Free Night Awards after you use your new Card to make $6,000 in purchases within the first 6 months of Card Membership. Redemption level up to 50,000 Marriott Bonvoy(R) points for each bonus Free Night Award, at hotels participating in Marriott Bonvoy(R). Certain hotels have resort fees.
The new offer is:
Limited Time Offer: Earn 125,000 Bonus Marriott Bonvoy Points after you use your new Card to make $8,000 in purchases within the first 6 months of Card Membership. Offer Ends 11/1/23. (Rates and Fees)
It’s a toss up on which offer is better. Many people prefer the flexibility of points. If you wanted a 70,000 hotel and a 50,000 certificate, you’re out of luck because you can only top off up to 15,000 points per night with Bonvoy (if you ask me, top offs should be unlimited…).
But on the face of it, three 50k certs maxed out would be worth 25,000 more points than the new offer.
There’s no real better or worse on this one in my opinion – it’s which is better for you.
