$75 off $750 of Hotel Bookings with a Citi Prestige
Trying to soften the blow of new rules for the Citi Prestige credit card that no longer allow us to use the Citi Concierge and receive our elite hotel benefits on 4th Night Free stays, Citi today emailed out a promotion for $75 off $750 when you book via the Citi Travel Center.
The deal is stackable with a 4th night free booking, meaning you could probably beat a 30% total discount on the stay.
You can do that online via your Citi account or by calling 1-800-THANKYOU, but note that no matter which way you book, it will be a prepaid rate and will not earn any hotel program points nor confer any hotel program elite benefits (i.e. if you are a Marriott Titanium member and book a Marriott using this offer, you will show up and the hotel will not recognize your Titanium status and you’ll effectively be treated as a Priceline guest).
However, this offer would be great if you were booking a non-chain hotel anyway, perhaps for a vacation somewhere that lacks your favorite hotel chain anyway.
Note that Citi is also inviting some Prestige Cardmembers to Choose a Holiday Gift From Tiffany, though I’ve not personally received this yet and I’m not sure if it is targeted.
