British Airways Retires its All Business Class “Baby Bus”
The iconic flight, operated by an Airbus 318, flew from New York’s JFK to London’s City Airport (LCY). On the return from London City to New York, it would stop in Dublin for fuel (because of weight restrictions leaving LCY) and also have passengers pre-clear US immigration in Dublin.
I reviewed BA001, a.k.a the “Baby Bus” way back in 2013 and most of the pictures are gone from the (I wrote this before I even had MilesTalk!).

Use iTunes Gift Cards for Apple Products
Nick at Frequent Miler details what changed and why this is pretty darn huge. The gist of it is that iTunes gift cards have been frequently discounted, with 10% off trivial and the ability to purchase in grocery stores (Amex Gold) and office supplies (Ink Cash) with 4-5X bonus multipliers or portal bonuses to boot.
While these will likely slowly vanish, you seem to have an opportunity to load up now for your next Apple purchase. Just keep in mind that you’ll lose the extended warranty you get with many credit cards by going this route.
Marriott Extends Mask Policy
As of today, it’s no longer just the US. If you are at a Marriott in the US, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, or Latin America, you’ll be subject to the Marriott Face Mask policy.
Marriott Amex Offer
Check your Amex cards for a $50 off when you spend $200 Amex Offer. Of course I didn’t get any on my Marriott Bonvoy credit cards, but I did on my Blue Business Plus.
IHG Free Night for New Members
Lastly, if you somehow don’t have an IHG account and will be staying twice this year, you can get a free night (up to 40,000 points).
