Another one day only special today is a LifeMiles transfer bonus of 10%. Only valid September 30th, 2020.
In this article
LifeMiles 10% Transfer Bonus Offer
This is a pretty paltry transfer bonus considering that we often see bonuses of 25-30% for LifeMiles transfers from bank partners. Usually the bonuses are offered at the bank side, but this one-day offer is being done on the LifeMiles side.
If you complete the transfer before midnight, LifeMiles will add 10% to your transfer. i.e. transfer in 80,000 LifeMiles and they’ll add 8,000 more.
Should you bother?
I’m ONLY posting this deal in case you were basically going to book a flight in the *very* near term anyway. It’s 1,000,000% not a big enough deal to transfer because of the bonus alone. But if you were going to book a flight anyway, this could influence which program you use (for example, Lifemiles vs. Aeroplan for a Star Alliance flight).
LifeMiles Transfer Partners
In the US, you can transfer in from:
- Citi
- American Express
- Capital One (remember, 2 points for 1.5 miles)
- Brex

Terms and Conditions
Unsurprisingly, there is a typo ion the published Terms and Conditions, stating you have to transfer by Sept 20th. They obviously mean the 30th. Here is the fine print:
Bonus LifeMiles offer is valid for Point transfer to Avianca LifeMiles completed on 09/20/20 before 12 AM ET. For the bonus LifeMiles offer, you will receive a 10% bonus on the transfer of points of participating partners to LifeMiles during the promotional period listed above. The bonus miles and the transferred miles may be reflected in the account statement in two different transactions. The list of participating partners can be found here. The additional bonus will be reflected in the LifeMiles account no later than 7 days after the transfer. In order to transfer Points to Avianca LifeMiles you must have an eligible Avianca LifeMiles account and the first and last names on the partner´s account and Avianca LifeMiles account must match. A submitted request to transfer Points may not be cancelled and the Points in a submitted request may not be returned to your partner´s account. Miles from the transfer of points are not taken into account for obtaining/and or maintaining the LifeMiles Elite Status. Following the Points Transfer, the resulting LifeMiles will be subject to the Terms and conditions of the Avianca LifeMiles program available at www.LifeMiles.com.
