The Status Match merry Go Round – What to Do In January

If you are a regular MilesTalk reader, you’ve no doubt followed the Status Match Merry Go Round. It’s important that, once you are on it, you don’t let the components expire.

A new year means your Wyndham Status is back to Blue…

Wyndham status expires the 1st of each year. So if you had Wyndham Diamond last year, it likely expired last night. Go ahead and check that. You are probably down to Blue Level. Next, you have your  Caesars Diamond that you matched online. Login and check your Caesars. Still Diamond, right?

Now go ahead and go to the Wyndham page and match. This will re-up your Wyndham Diamond status.  Then make a note for a few days into February. Your Caesars status will lapse Feb 1. But you can go back to the Caesars page then (I’ll remind you!) and re-up for another year!
