There are several nice Hyatt deals going on now, so I thought I’d sum them up in one post for you.
In this article
15% to 25% Off World of Hyatt Award Stays
Get 15% of your redeemed points back as Bonus Points when you redeem points for free night stays and more through October 8, 2020.
If you carry the World of Hyatt Credit Card or the (no longer available) Hyatt Credit Card, you’ll receive an additional 10% of your redeemed points back as Bonus Points, for a total of 25% of redeemed points back when used during the promotion period.
Here’s how it works:
- Members and Cardmembers must register for the offer by September 1, 2020.
-
- Members can register hereregister here.
- Members and Cardmembers can redeem their points across 1,000+ locations for free night awards, Points + Cash stays, towards room upgrades, dining and spa services, and Exhale classes and spa therapies completed between July 8 and October 8, 2020.
- Members and Cardmembers will get up to 25% of their redeemed points back as Bonus Points automatically deposited into their World of Hyatt account 6-8 weeks after they are used.
Kind of cool that it includes all redemptions and not just standard award stays. And even if you aren’t traveling far, this could be a nice opportunity to checkout something like the Ventana Big Sur or Topping Rose House in the Hamptons.
Free Parking Benefit Extension for All Members
Free nights now include free parking for all members on stays from July 8 through October 8, 2020 (and there are no resort fees for any members on award stays).
Globalists will also receive free parking on eligible paid stays during the promotion period. These parking benefits are only available at hotels where parking can be charged to the hotel.
Dine Local, Earn Triple Points
Earn triple points on eligible spend when not staying the night, for dine-in, takeout or delivery at participating outlets at Hyatt hotels and resorts, from July 8 to October 8, 2020. That’ll be 15 World of Hyatt points per dollar spent – or 17 total if you have the World of Hyatt credit card since that earns 2 points per dollar as well.
Bonus: Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa for $500 a night, almost any time
I don’t spend much time on TravelZoo deals. I’m almost always using points anyway.
But this TravelZoo deal caught my eye.
A pool villa is $2,495 for 5 nights ($499 a night) in a Park Pool Villa. Upgrade to overwater for $3,775. (Seaplane is $520 pp extra but resort fees and taxes are included). Breakfast and dinner are included as well! (That can really add up in the Maldives).
I expected to see super limited dates and a degree of non-refundability but neither is the case.
The only excluded dates are Dec. 31, 2020 – Jan. 1, 2021; and Dec. 22, 2021 – Jan. 4, 2022 (of course, they can be sold out of your room type on any date).
Refunds are available: Until the voucher’s expiry date, Travelzoo will give you a full refund of your purchase if you can’t find dates that suit you or you can’t travel. Once the room is reserved with the hotel, changes must be made at least 14 days prior to arrival or voucher will not be refundable.
We already have the Waldorf Astoria Maldives booked with points for December. If we didn’t, I’d be buying this deal. In fact, with the offer through 2022, I still may…
