If you spend a lot on Amazon and Whole Foods and don’t mind cash back over points, 5% is as good as it gets. From now until July 14th, coinciding with “Prime Day” (lasting FOUR days) deals which last July 8-11, Amazon Prime Visa is offering $250 on approval (Prime Members only) through July 14, 2025. I’ve never seen it that high – it’s usually $100-$200.
Also – you’ll want to check your “Pay One Point offers” on both American Express and Discover for up to 40% off (typically up to $100 of spend) though it varies by account and not all will be eligible.
Add to your Amazon account using these links and then shop “Prime Day” starting tomorrow, July 8th. If you get either offer, remember you’ll need to use a corresponding credit card to make the purchase and select the option to pay with points – but select to use $0.01 of points to maximize value. Items you buy must be shipped and sold by Amazon.com

As always, the very best discounts during Prime Day are on Amazon branded products, but there are some pretty amazing deals all over the place.
