hilton 4th quarter promo 2025

You can register now for Hilton’s forth quarter promotion: The Season to Stay Promotion.

And you should, because you might wind up at a Hilton property when you least expect it…

But the promotion nets you just 1,500 Bonus Points on every stay during the promotion period. Not even per night…. per stay.

1,500 bonus points is worth about $7.50 (if we go by the MilesTalk 0.5 cent value of a Hilton point).

For sure, this promotion is a yawn, especially when we’ve just gone through another absolutely brutal Hilton Honors devaluation with top end properties now going for a quarter of a million points per night.

Look, I’m still a Hilton fanboy thanks to being able to use Hilton Free Night Reward certificates from the Aspire and Surpass credit cards at any property with a Standard Reward night and waived resort fees on rewards (unlike Marriott which can have “free stays” that cost over $100 in fees), but when you raise prices so drastically on the redemption side, maybe it’s worth considering buttering up those guests that are not loyal but swayed by current promotions with a few more points? Isn’t that the point of these promotions? To sway someone into booking Hilton over a competitor?

Are you doing that for $7.50 back on your stay?

That said, it beats “targeted promotions” that brands throw out only to select members. Having been snubbed all year by both Marriott and Hyatt on those, I’d rather have 1,500 points 😉

  1. Dave this .5 cents as point valuation is from history a long time ago.
except for a few very high end hotels Hilton points are usually closer to .25cents a point.
There has been a massive devaluation over past few years.

    • Yes, I have covered each and every devaluation 🙂 It may be time to consider a drop to 0.4c but I’ll have to run some data. I did drop it from 0.6 to 0.5c not that long ago! When calculating value you still need to consider 5th night free and waived resort fees. I also have not seen any blog value it at 1/4 of a cent… I think I’m about in the middle on this valuation.
