American Express has added a new statement credit benefit on the American Express® Business Gold Card effective today.
Cardmembers can earn up to $150 in statement credits each calendar year for U.S. purchases with Squarespace, a company that lets you both build and host your website.
Amex tells me this is not segmented by month/quarter, etc. You get $150 per calendar year to use however you want.
The cheapest plan is $192 a year (paid yearly) and it goes up from there. If you already use Squarespace, or were planning to anyway, then this is an easy $150. That said, I absolutely wouldn’t *choose* to move to Squarespace just to take advantage of this offer as so much goes into choosing how to build and maintain a website! If you have been delaying building a site, then perhaps this might motivate you since you can pay an effective $42 a year on the base plan?
