If you have even a single night’s worth of Hilton Honors points sitting in your account, you might be able to snag one of these sweepstakes-style deals.

Hilton just announced Hilton Honors America Experiences, a limited series of road trip packages that will drop on the Hilton Honors Experiences platform starting May 26th. The cost? 250 Hilton Honors points each. Not 250,000. Two hundred and fifty.

What You Actually Get

Each experience includes Hampton by Hilton accommodations along the route, a Hampton-branded road trip “go bag,” and a $250 BP fuel card. These aren’t just hotel stays with a loose theme attached – they’re built around specific events and destinations.

Here’s a look at what’s dropping this summer:

  • A 14-day “Pursuit of Happiness” open road adventure, complete with a 2026 Jeep® Grand Cherokee and a year’s worth of fuel
  • A trip to the Flora-Bama Fishing Rodeo, where big catches, bigger crowds and serious bragging rights define the weekend
  • A trip to Roswell’s UFO Festival, including parade access, costume contests and front-row seats to one of the country’s most famous mysteries
  • A VIP (Very Important Pickle) experience at Picklesburgh, complete with private tastings, contests and a year’s supply of pickles
  • A scenic road trip through Zion and Bryce Canyon, culminating in a private stargazing experience under some of the darkest skies in the country
  • An all-access pass to the Great American State Fair and VIP access to the nation’s Fourth of July fireworks on the National Mall, delivering front-row views of America’s biggest celebration
  • A high-adrenaline roller coaster road trip, where thrill seekers chase record-breaking rides and follow an insider itinerary curated by American Coaster Enthusiasts

How to Get One

These drops will be first-come, first-served, which means speed matters. The first batch goes live on May 26th, with more dropping throughout the summer.

To get notified when a new experience goes live, download the Hilton Honors app and turn on push notifications. Hilton’s social channels will also announce drops.

I’m going to assume you are already a Hilton Honors member but, if not, join before May 26th.

Bottom Line

250 points is essentially nothing. The catch here is that these are extremely limited quantities on a first-come, first-served basis, so most people won’t get one. Kind of like the US Mint deals on popular coins or the old US Travel Association Daily Getaways.

But if you’re quick and one of these experiences matches something you’d actually want to do this summer, it’s about as close to free as travel experiences get.

If any MilesTalkers snag one of these, I’d love to hear about it.

Dave Grossman
I got "in the game" in 2003 and since then I've collected literally millions and millions of frequent flyer miles and hotel points. I've flown around the world in first class seats that would cost $29,000 using frequent flyer miles and a few bucks in tax. And I've stayed in some of the finest hotels - all for free! Several years ago, I realized many of my friends actually thought I was paying for these!! So I started sharing my tips. It's long been a passion, but when I hosted a session on Miles and Points at the South by Southwest festival, my love of the game intensified and this blog was born. Since then, I've written my book, MilesTalk: Live Your Wildest Travel Dreams Using Miles and Points (2nd Edition) - (author profile), give seminars on miles and points all over the world, and occasionally write for publications such as Frommer's and Forbes Advisor.
