The Venetian Las Vegas Tier Match is Live
Last month we were able to tease an upcoming Tier Match at the Venetian in Las Vegas. I’m not aware that they ever did one for their previous loyalty program called Gratize (although they did, and still do, offer match at their discretion). Now that that they have rebranded to Venetian Rewards, they are also offering a tier match from October 1, 2024 to January 1, 2025.
With the status match offer starting today, you’d have expected a splashy webpage like Wynn did, right?
Nope – there is nothing on the website!
However, thanks to MilesTalk group member Java M. being “on the ground” in Las Vegas, we have all the details. The details, however, are not nearly as exciting as we had hoped.
Why not exciting? Because while with the Fontainebleau tier match and the Wynn tier match earlier this year both gave matched member full benefits (and Wynn did so from April/May when the match occurred through January 31, 2025!), Venetian is doing neither.
- While you have until Jan 1, 2025 to match, your matched tier will expire Feb 28th, 2025 unless you meet the tier (it’s unclear if there is a reduced number of tier credits required)
- More importantly, the three best status perks are all excluded from the match. So while a Caesars Diamond member matches to Ruby, for example, they will not get the one free suite night, the $100 dining credit, or the Choice Benefit (choice of a $150 airfare credit, a round of golf, or a $150 Canyon Ranch spa credit).
While on the one hand I get they figure the expense is too high, I think that both Fontainebleau and Wynn understood that the player being matched needs to feel the status.
By excluding these high roller perks, there’s just not much excitement around testing out Venetian’s program if you are already enjoying Wynn Platinum or Black next door by example.
All of that said, let’s get into what matches to what and what benefits you DO get.
Venetian Tier Match by Card Level
You can only match to Ruby or Diamond status as follows:
Ruby:
- MGM Rewards Gold
- Caesars Diamond or Diamond Plus
- Wynn Platinum
- Resorts World Monarch
- Hard Rock Unity Icon
- Stations MyRewards President or Platinum
Diamond (top non-invite tier)
- MGM Rewards Platinum / Noir
- Caesars Diamond Elite / Seven Stars
- Wynn Black
- Resorts World Imperial
- Hard Rock Unity X
- Stations MyRewards Chairman
Venetian Tier Match Details

- Matched guests will keep their tier until February 28, 2025. If they earn the points to reach the Tier, they will remain in that Tier from March 1, 2025 to February 28, 2026 (Tier Year).

- Tier Matched Guest will only receive benefits under MATCHED TIER BENEFITS.
I’m omitting the parts like “you need ID that matches the card you are matching from” and “the card must not be expired” as those are givens of any match.

Bottom Line
On the one hand, if you’ve been curious about Venetian and their new program (which I do hear is pretty good about sending out free suite offers to those with play), this is a great chance to go VIP for a few months with things like priority lines, suite upgrades, and priority seating as well as nice discounts at the spa and a boost on slot point multipliers.
But on the other hand, not offering ANY of those special tier benefits is, to me a buzzkill – especially for tiers like Wynn Black that not anyone is likely to be waltzing in with if they don’t have the bankroll to back up the card – i.e. people Venetian should really be trying to wow.
Still, if you have even Caesars Diamond (which we pretty much all do?) and will be in town, you may as well try it out and see how you like gambling at Venetian!
