Capital One is celebrating the third anniversary of the Capital One Venture X Business with an offer for eligible existing cardholders that were cardholders before 9/27: earn a $500 Capital One Business Travel credit after spending $3,000 on Capital One Business Travel bookings by December 15, 2026.

The $500 Capital One Business Travel Credit

The spending has to be through Capital One Business Travel between September 30th and December 15, 2026. Regular purchases on the card, or a flight booked directly with an airline won’t count.

Then you earn a travel credit to use through the Capital One Business Travel booking platform. So, you need to spend the $3,000 on Capital One Business Travel and the credit you earn is also only for Capital One Business Travel.

Worth It?

Do you mind portal bookings? If not, this is great. If you really hate portal bookings because of the loss of elite hotel stay benefits or direct control over your airline ticket, I guess you’ll skip this.

Fourth Night Free at Select Hotels

Capital One also highlights a fourth-night-free offer at select Premier Collection and Lifestyle Collection hotels when booking at least four nights through Capital One Business Travel.

However, unlike FHR and The Edit stays, you are not guaranteed any elite benefits at hotels where you have status. It’s a full-on third party booking.

For more info on, see the Capital One Venture X Business details on Your Best Credit Cards, although new card accounts won’t be eligible for this offer.

Dave Grossman
I got "in the game" in 2003 and since then I've collected literally millions and millions of frequent flyer miles and hotel points. I've flown around the world in first class seats that would cost $29,000 using frequent flyer miles and a few bucks in tax. And I've stayed in some of the finest hotels - all for free! Several years ago, I realized many of my friends actually thought I was paying for these!! So I started sharing my tips. It's long been a passion, but when I hosted a session on Miles and Points at the South by Southwest festival, my love of the game intensified and this blog was born. Since then, I've written my book, MilesTalk: Live Your Wildest Travel Dreams Using Miles and Points (2nd Edition) - (author profile), give seminars on miles and points all over the world, and occasionally write for publications such as Frommer's and Forbes Advisor.
