citi leading hotels of the world leaders club transfer

Some quick news, which I’d love to deep dive but we have just 1.5 days in Cuzco before returning to reality, so I’m going to just drop this for you – as it’s too interesting to not post.

As of today, you can transfer from Citi Premier and Citi Prestige cards to the Leaders Club, which is the loyalty program for Leading Hotels of the World – a collection of luxury hotels and resorts along the same lines as SLH.

When you first login to your Leaders Club and run points searches (you must be logged in), you’ll see what appears to be redemptions north of 10 cents per point! But then you’ll realize that Citi transfers 5:1.

I ran a few searches and seem to be seeing actual redemption CPPs ranging from about 1.5 to 2.5 cents per Citi point.

I’d write more detail, but I don’t have the time right now. I’m sure i’ll dig in more later on.

Let me know what deals you find in the meantime! If nothing else, it’s a great new way to redeem Citi points for luxury hotels and generally above the MilesTalk value of Citi Thank You points (1.6 cents each).
