marriott bonvoy nudist resort

I don’t write a lot of “fluff” pieces. Not my thing.

But I couldn’t help myself when I discovered today that there is actually a nudist resort bookable with Marriott Bonvoy points.

The resort is the Grand Lido Negril Au-Naturel, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort, located in Negril, Jamaica.

It seems to run the ballpark of $700 or about 100,000 Bonvoy points per night (and there appears to usually be a 2 or 3 day minimum stay. Of course, if you stay 5 nights on points, the 5th night is free.

The hotel website’s description states:

Grand Lido Negril Au-Naturel, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort – Adults Only aged 21+, is a clothing-free oceanfront boutique private resort bringing guests a unique and natural all-inclusive vacation.

Grand Lido Negril offers an upscale and elegant naturist resort atmosphere for singles and couples alike who desire a more liberated holiday experience with 26 exquisite ocean-facing suites in an isolated enclave, premium Butler Service, and access to an additional two nearby luxury all-inclusive resorts, Royalton Negril and adults-only Hideaway at Royalton Negril.

It certainly shows that Marriott’s various brands have a wide variety of hotel types to choose from!

  1. A couple things.

First, this is essentially a mini-resort within a larger Marriott all-inclusive resort that IS NOT clothing-optional.

Second, it’s located right next to the infamous Hedonism Resort. That’s the swinger resort, where guests aren’t just nude. They have sex in public. Huge orgies of every imaginable combination. And, yes, they sell day passes.

I’ve been told that the Marriott-affiliated property isn’t a swingers resort, although I’ve never believed that because about half the women at any resort in Jamaica are topless. You really don’t need a special nudist resort if you just want to be topless. My guess is there are many swingers who for appearances sake don’t want to be at the official swingers resort.
