Crazy, crazy, crazy.
My first thoughts are that it’s bad for Spirit and Frontier flyers as those prices will surely rise. But perhaps it will be a more formidable opponent to the bigger airlines, causing some fare drops in some cities?
American Airlines AAdvantage and GOL Smiles to Combine
Gary at View from the Wing writes that the frequent flyer programs can be merged. I always found GOL Smiles fascinating – ever since this craziness.
While I’d love to see a brand new program created, I have to think GOL Smiles just merges into AAdvantage.
