The only catch, really, is that you won’t get the 2 months of Companion Pass until next year. The deal:

- Book one (cash) roundtrip or two one-way flights by 8/30, for travel by 9/30.
- Your Companion flies free* with you from 1/8-3/8/24!
*Not valid on flights purchased with Rapid Rewards® points.
That’s about all there is to it!
Still, most would probably work on the strategy to get Two full years of the Southwest Companion Pass (using 2 credit cards), which will be optimal at the end of 2023 for the 2024-2025 Companion Pass years.
