I’m a pretty big fan of Capital One’s lounges, although they vary widely in quality (I’m a HUGE fan of the JFK outpost.)
They don’t have the footprint of an Amex Centurion card, but they are working on it!
Today, they announced details of a forthcoming lounge at CLT.

They share:
“Located on the mezzanine level of the airport’s Concourse A expansion, the Capital One Lounge at CLT will span approximately 14,000 square feet and bring an elevated, regionally inspired travel experience to one of the nation’s busiest airports.
At CLT, Capital One will showcase its regional approach to dining and design, with expansive tarmac views, locally inspired menus, a full-service coffee bar, and dedicated workspaces that create a warm, light-filled environment for travelers.”
Now, this is just signed and not even under construction yet, so your guess is as good as mine as to when this might open, but it may be useful for your card decisions to know this is on the way if CLT is your main airport.
Access will, as always, be via their two premium credit cards:
- Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card Credit Card
- Capital One Venture X Business Credit Card Card
