Registration is now live for the July-September 2023 period for your Chase Freedom and Freedom Flex cards.
This is for both the legacy Chase Freedom and the new Freedom Flex.
As a refresher, the old Chase Freedom and the new Freedom Flex allow you to earn 5X Ultimate Rewards points on whatever the chosen categories are for that 3 month period. The limit is $1,500 in spend for the quarter per card, for a total of 7,500 Ultimate Rewards points on the spend.

Chase Freedom Family 3rd Quarter (2023) 5X Bonus Categories
You can now register for the 2nd quarter bonus categories on your Chase Freedom or Freedom Flex. Both Freedom Flex (including converted Freedom Flex cards) and the original Freedom cards will have access to these bonus categories which are:
- Gas Stations
- EV Charging
- Select Live Entertainment
This one should be pretty easy one to max out. If you drive a car you probably spend $500 a month on gas these days. If not, the gas station might just sell some gift cards…
Activation Deadline
You must activate by September 14, 2023.
