This is for both the newer Freedom Flex and the legacy Chase Freedom card.
As a refresher, the Freedom Flex and the legacy Chase Freedom card allow you to earn 5X Ultimate Rewards points on whatever the chosen categories are for that 3 month period. The limit is $1,500 in spend for the quarter per card, for a total of 7,500 Ultimate Rewards points on the spend.

Chase Freedom Family 4th Quarter (2026) 5X Bonus Categories
You can now register for the 2026 4th quarter bonus categories on your Chase Freedom or Freedom Flex. Both Freedom Flex and the original Freedom cards will have access to these bonus categories which are:
- Grocery Stores
- Dining
- American Red Cross
This is a great quarter. Between grocery stores and dining, it almost seems hard not to max out your $1,500 monthly spend limit. Especially with the cost of groceries!
Activation Deadline
You must activate by Dec 14, 2026.
