American Express just updated the welcome bonuses on five Delta SkyMiles cards — personal and business — and also added a couple of card improvements worth knowing about. All the Delta offers are limited-time, expiring July 15, 2026. There are also two new Bonvoy offers if Marriott is more your thing.
Here’s what changed.

Delta Amex Welcome Bonuses (Limited Time – Offers End 7/15/2026)
Personal Cards
Delta SkyMiles® Gold American Express Card
Earn 70,000 Bonus Miles after you spend $3,000 or more in purchases with your new Card within the first 6 months of Card Membership and an additional 20,000 bonus miles after you make an additional $2,000 in purchases on the Card within your first 6 months, starting from the date that your account is opened. Offer Ends 07/15/2026. Terms apply.
That’s 90,000 miles total for $5,000 in spend over six months — a strong offer for an entry-level Delta card with a modest annual fee.
Delta SkyMiles® Platinum American Express Card
Earn 80,000 Bonus Miles after you spend $4,000 or more in purchases with your new Card within the first 6 months of Card Membership and an additional 20,000 bonus miles after you make an additional $2,000 in purchases on the Card within your first 6 months, starting from the date that your account is opened. Offer Ends 07/15/2026. Terms apply.
100,000 miles total for $6,000 in spend. The Platinum is the sweet spot in the Delta lineup for most travelers — you get a companion certificate, Global Entry/TSA PreCheck credit, and a solid path toward Medallion status.
Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card
Earn 100,000 Bonus Miles after you spend $6,000 or more in purchases with your new Card within the first 6 months of Card Membership and an additional 25,000 bonus miles after you make an additional $3,000 in purchases on the Card within your first 6 months, starting from the date that your account is opened. Offer Ends 07/15/2026. Terms apply.
125,000 miles total for $9,000 in spend. A lot of spend required, but this is the premium Delta card with Delta Sky Club access, so the bar is higher. If you were going to get this card anyway, this is a great time to pull the trigger.
Business Cards
Delta SkyMiles® Gold Business American Express Card
Earn 90,000 Bonus Miles after spending $6,000 in purchases on your new Card in your first 6 months of Card Membership. Offer ends 7/15/26. Terms apply.
A clean, straightforward offer. 90,000 miles for $6,000 in business spend.
Delta SkyMiles® Platinum Business American Express Card
Earn 100,000 Bonus Miles after spending $8,000 in purchases on your new Card in your first 6 months of Card Membership. Offer ends 7/15/26. Terms apply.
100,000 miles for $8,000 in spend. A strong offer for business owners who fly Delta regularly.
Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Business American Express Credit Card
Earn 125,000 Bonus Miles after spending $15,000 in purchases on your new Card in your first 6 months of Card Membership. Offer ends 7/15/26. Terms apply.
125,000 miles for $15,000 in spend — a high bar, but this is the top-tier business Delta card. If you have the spend to hit it, 125,000 SkyMiles is a serious haul.
Two New Benefits Hitting All Six Delta Amex Cards
Beyond the welcome bonuses, Delta and Amex also announced two benefit upgrades worth knowing about.
Second Checked Bag Free on Domestic Flights (All Six Cards)
All six Delta Amex cards now include a free second checked bag on domestic flights for the primary cardmember. The first checked bag has always been free on Delta flights worldwide for you and up to eight travelers on the same reservation — that hasn’t changed. The new addition is the domestic second bag, which applies to cardmembers only (not authorized users).
$120 Annual Rideshare Credit (Gold and Gold Business Only)
This one is specific to the Delta SkyMiles® Gold American Express Card and the Delta SkyMiles® Gold Business American Express Card.
After card renewal, enrolled cardmembers get a new $120 annual rideshare credit — up to $10 per month in statement credits on eligible U.S. rideshare purchases with select providers. A nice add for a card at this price point.
Marriott Bonvoy Offers
Marriott Bonvoy Boundless® Credit Card
Earn 125,000 Bonus Points after spending $3,000 on eligible purchases + 1 Free Night Award within 3 months of account opening with the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless® Credit Card. Redeem your Free Night Award for a one-night stay at properties with a redemption level up to 50,000 points per night. Certain hotels have resort fees.
Special Offer through 6/30/2027: Get up to $100 in statement credits after spending $500 on eligible airline purchases. That’s up to $50 in statement credits semi-annually.
125,000 Bonvoy points plus a free night award at up to 50,000 points (top up with up to 25,000 more points) can get you into some nice properties. The airline credit sweetens the deal further. Still, the previous offer was better in my opinion!
Marriott Bonvoy Bold® Credit Card
Earn 60,000 Bonus Points after spending $1,000 on eligible purchases within 3 months of account opening with the Marriott Bonvoy Bold® Credit Card!
The Bold is Marriott’s no-annual-fee card, and 60,000 points for $1,000 in spend is a low bar to clear. Not the most premium offer on the list, but hard to argue with the entry point.
Bottom Line
The Delta limited-time offers end July 15, 2026, so you have about six weeks to decide. The Bonvoy offers don’t have a listed end date but that can change anytime.
The Reserve cards pay for themselves if you use the Companion Certs that now work to the Caribbean and Mexico in First or spend your way to status; otherwise the lesser cards are better.
Terms apply to all offers. See card review pages for full details.
