Just two weeks to the day after adding Frontier as their 19th transfer partner, Rove has added yet another (pretty big!) transfer partner in Qantas Frequent Flyer.

What’s more is Rove is offering a 50% transfer bonus on all transfers to Qantas Frequent Flyer through August 14, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. EST. During the promotion, every 1,000 Rove Miles transferred will become 1,500 Qantas Points.

If you’re new to Rove, don’t forget that our exclusive Rove link gives you 1,500 miles just for signing up – no purchase required.

We’ll be adding this to our Transfer Partner Matrix along with the transfer bonus.

Qantas Frequent Flyer

Amex, Citi and Capital One all transfer to Qantas as well, so you can pool miles if you need to – and the 50% bonus may make awards reasonable.

The Qantas frequent flyer program tends to have very expensive rates, however, there are often times that they make First and Business Class seats from the US to Australia available with Qantas Frequent Flyer and not with partners. You may also find expanded availability with other partners – you’ll have to search but happily their search interface is pretty easy to use and provides calendar views. You can also book Emirates Business class flights with Qantas. Compare against the Emirates Skywards program before transferring.

Note that they can have high surcharges!

Dave Grossman
I got "in the game" in 2003 and since then I've collected literally millions and millions of frequent flyer miles and hotel points. I've flown around the world in first class seats that would cost $29,000 using frequent flyer miles and a few bucks in tax. And I've stayed in some of the finest hotels - all for free! Several years ago, I realized many of my friends actually thought I was paying for these!! So I started sharing my tips. It's long been a passion, but when I hosted a session on Miles and Points at the South by Southwest festival, my love of the game intensified and this blog was born. Since then, I've written my book, MilesTalk: Live Your Wildest Travel Dreams Using Miles and Points (2nd Edition) - (author profile), give seminars on miles and points all over the world, and occasionally write for publications such as Frommer's and Forbes Advisor.
