If you live near Boston or might be passing through, here’s a great deal from the new Encore Boston Harbor (short review).

Encore Boston Harbor “Tier Match”

They will “tier match” your existing player’s card from another casino but, interestingly, it’s not a tier match at all because there’s no tiers! Everyone’s a Red Card holder for now.

But they will give you between $75 and $500 based on your existing casino card from another casino –  only this August. And if you are a follower of my Status Match Merry Go Round, you can easily pick up $150 in free play. How do you know how much you’ll get? You don’t, really, except I can give you some clues since I called them doing a bit of detective work.

Who loves ya, baby?!

Here’s the deal with the Encore Boston Harbor Tier Match:

Top tier players from nearby casinos will get $500 in Free Play. So if you have top tier at Mohegan Sun or Foxwoods or Park Ridge – or Caesars Seven Star or MGM Platinum / Noir, go pick up your $500 in Free Credits.

Those of us on the Merry Go Round have Caesars Diamond (and perhaps also MGM Gold). You’ll be entitled to $150 in Free Play.

Now, many of us have Hard Rock’s top tier Rock Royalty status. Sadly, no, that isn’t worth anything in this case, nor is Ocean Casino Resort status. They aren’t really chasing Atlantic City players here.

I also noticed that I have some offers on my card for $100 in Free Play in various bits and pieces, notably with periods that end on a Saturday and restarting on a Sunday. So if, for instance, I went this weekend, I could match for $150, then get $100 more Saturday and $100 more Sunday. $350 in Free Play isn’t a bad haul!  I don’t know if I have that offer because I’ve been to Encore Boston Harbor already, but I barely gambled at all that trip.

Here’s a link to their Tier Match T&Cs, though there’s less info there than in this post 😉

    • Hi John. She was answering my questions from a sheet she had and she said what’s in the post 🙂 I’m not surprised given Caesars is national.

      Local AC casinos were excluded.
