If you have been wanting to fly Fiji Airways and have some Alaska Airlines miles, you can book between now and Feb 28th, 2020 for up to half off.

If you don’t mind coach, you’ll get 50% off each way, flying as far as Australia or New Zealand will set you back just 20,000 miles each way. But even in Business Class, you’ll see your fare knocked down from 55,000 miles each way to 40,000 miles each way – saving 30,000 miles on a round trip in Business Class.

Expect a stop in Fiji (NAN) each way, but feel free to build in a stop over there as well!

US gateway cities for Fiji are Los Angeles and San Francisco. And while it doesn’t in the terms, I tested myself and found it will indeed add a gateway city connection from another-Alaska served city

If you don’t have Alaska miles, they aren’t the easiest to get. You can pickup a Bank of America issues Alaska credit cards or you can transfer from Marriott Bonvoy at a rate of 25,000 miles for 60,000 Bonvoy points.
