If you have MGM Gold status via Hyatt (or if you actually earned it!) you will once again have a chance to match to Caesars Diamond in person, conferring benefits like no resort fees, free parking, a free $100 “Celebration Dinner” (if you earn 100 tier points), and of course, the free stay at Atlantis in the Bahamas. The match will begin on Feb 1, 2023. Details here.
Of course, it’s not as easy as the Wyndham Business Earner route. If you have that card, which confers Wyndham Diamond status, you get Wyndham Diamond status which matches online to Caesars Diamond and can be renewed yearly.
However, Caesars has occasionally had a nationwide matching program where you can bring not just an MGM Gold card, but a similar tier card from most casinos in the country to a Caesars Rewards booth and get upgraded to Diamond.
The big difference, though, is that you *technically* must be a brand new Caesars Rewards member (in practice, many get lucky with agents that don’t enforce that – though others fail and get frustrated) and you will not (likely) be able to “match back and forth” form MGM to Caesars after this due to the new account rule (though again, you could get lucky.
Now, many are waiting to see if MGM will do the same. This is more important to most people because historically MGM has only matched in Atlantic City and in Springfield, Massachusetts, a real bummer for West Coasters.
In mid-2021 they opened a nationwide tier match which lasted until Dec. 31st. As of now they have not announced a new match or updated the end date of that offer.
I have a hunch that with Caesars doing this again, MGM is *likely* to as well.

I have the wyndham earner biz card. Do I have to wait until feb 1st for caesars to downgrade me to gold before I can match again? Or can I match now for the new year?

Yeah I realize that but once February 1st comes around I will have to match and wait the however long it takes to match? I want to book the Bahamas trip asap.
I hear you. Sadly you just can’t book Atlantis beyond Jan 31 until Feb 1. Always been that way.
I already have a caesars account and i heard they only match to new members now. Can i still match my wyndham diamond to their diamond as i tried to do it online but i get no confirmation email and says it takes 2 weeks and wanted to use it this week. maybe you have a number i could try to call? thanks in advance
If you have EARNED status with Wyndham, including the Wyndham Business credit card, then yes. We don’t yet know for sure if the status match works after 10 nights are completed. We do know it doesn’t work just from the initial challenge match.
