A quick summary of today’s news:

Bilt Adds United and Cathay Pacific as Partners

Bilt Rewards is a service that lets you pay your rent with a credit card with no fee. I’ve written about Bilt here and here.

They have added United Airlines’ Mileage Plus and Cathay Pacific AsiaMiles as partners, bringing their (1:1) transfer partner list to 11, including American AAdvantage, Turkish, and Hyatt.

Both are great adds. United is great because they often don’t make awards available to partners since launching dynamic award pricing, and Cathay Pacific has two notable perks – namely lower surcharges than many other options (for example, Cathay Pacific is the cheapest way to fly British Airways to London and beyond from the US) and also because if you add a connecting flight to an award in a lower class of service than your main leg, it actually becomes cheaper than the main leg alone. Just watch out for the solvency of Cathay given the situation in HKG – best for flights in the near term than far off).

New US Mint Deal

The US Mint coin deals are great ways to meet minimum spend on a credit card or simply earn a few bucks and a lot of miles or points for the credit card spend. You can read a past post explaining them here.

This deal is for tomorrow, Thursday, and you’ll need to be quick!

I personally use PFS Buyers Club, who I have done many deals with and trust.

From their site:

On March 17th – at 12:00PM ET the US Mint will release a limited edition Four-Coin American Gold Eagle Set.

There is a limit of 1 set per household.

The cost of each set will be $5,332.50. After including the $4.95 shipping charge, each order’s total will be $5,337.45

You will have the box shipped to your own house or office and then ship them to PFS Buyers Club with a prepaid FedEx shipping label that we will provide for you.

We will pay you $5,500.00 – for a profit of $162.55 per order.

This is also a great opportunity to earn valuable points/miles on your credit cards, as well as meet any spending thresholds.

Please only signup to do their deal if you intend to follow through if you get the coin.

20% Point Rebate for Thompson Hotel Awards in April and May

Gary at View from the Wing notes this deal in his own roundup.

World Of Hyatt Credit Card and World of Hyatt Business Credit Card card holders can register for a 20% rebate when redeeming points at Thompson Hotels for stays completed April 1 – June 5, 2022.

Very specific for sure, but I’m sure useful for some.
