Capital One Expands Travel Portal to More Cards
Until now, only Capital One Venture, Capital One Venture X Credit Card, and Spark Miles cardholders had access to book travel using rewards on the Capital One Travel portal.
Starting today, Savor, SavorOne, Quicksilver, QuicksilverOne, Spark Cash, Spark Cash Plus and their Student cards will have access to Capital One Travel, and earn unlimited 5% cash back on hotels and rental cars booked there with eligible cards – or use rewards to book travel.
If you are in a cash crunch, you should avoid travel rewards credit cards until you are caught up. Here are our favorite credit cards for Intro 0% APR offers and for balance transfer offers
Per Capital One, “this expansion allows even more of our customers to earn and redeem rewards via Capital One Travel and enjoy flexibility, unique features like price alerts, price drop protection, cancel your flight for any reason, and our best prices when booking travel.
When booking through Capital One Travel, cash rewards cardholders can redeem rewards at a 1-to-1 ratio. $1 earned in cash rewards is worth $1 towards a travel booking. We are excited that this is another opportunity for us to continue to provide our customers with even more value and reward them for the things they love doing — like travel.”
Turo Partnership With Capital One Venture and Venture X
Capital One is also launching a new partnership with Turo. As of today, Capital One Venture X cardholders will earn 10X miles and Capital One Venture cardholders will earn 5X miles when booking through the Turo app or on Turo.com (through May 16, 2023).
