Best Ever Offers on Southwest Chase Credit Cards (Plus/Premier/Priority) – up to 75,000 Rapid Rewards Points
All three of the personal Southwest credit cards from Chase are sporting newly increased bonus offers that are the highest we’ve ever seen and just perfect for getting your Southwest Companion Pass (which there’s still time to get nearly two full years of Companion Pass!).
Earn up to 75,000 Southwest Rapid Rewards Points
The new offer for the Southwest Rewards Plus Credit Card ($69 annual fee), Southwest Rewards Premier Credit Card ($99 annual fee) and Southwest Rewards Priority Credit Card ($149 annual fee) is as follows:
Up to 75,000 Rapid Rewards points: Earn 40,000 points after spending $1,000 in your first 3 months and 35,000 more points after spending $5,000 total within 6 months.
We previously saw a two tier offer for 60,000 total points, so yes, this is a fantastic deal for just $5,000 in total spend.
You’ll have 80,000 Southwest Rapid Rewards when you finish the bonus, meaning you’d need to earn 45,000 more Southwest points to earn your Companion Pass through the end of 2021.
You can do that by also applying for one of the two Southwest Business cards, the Southwest Performance Business Credit Card or the Southwest Rapid Rewards Premier Business Credit Card – either of which would put you over the 125,000 total points needed to earn Companion Pass. Or you could earn the 45,000 additional points by flying, using their shopping and dining portals or almost any other means (except for transfers from transferable credit card points or hotel programs which won’t count).
So yes, I’d say this is a great deal.
